As you are aware, TFSC (TANSTIA – FNF Service Centre) is a collaborative venture between Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA) and Friedrich Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit Germany, established to render supporting services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.  The Centre was inaugurated by of India in 1992 and since then we have been committed to the cause of micro, small and medium enterprises.  We have been a pioneer centre in offering the right supports like Training, Consultancy, Information and Handholding services to Small Industries to help them to attain all round competitiveness to face the challenges in the liberalized economy.  A brochure about our organization is enclosed for your kind information.

The current economic situation warrants the need to make our  SMEs globally competitive. This can only be brought about by ensuring incremental and innovative improvements in the growth and development of SMEs. A clear focus is required on SME specific issues such as Environment, Finance, Regulatory Framework and Capacity Building.

To discuss and bring out a policy paper on the issues and also to highlight the challenges and prospects available in the SME Sector, TFSC is organizing a Conference on “SME Issues : Challenges and Prospects” wherein Chambers/Government Officials/SMEs from different parts of the country  are being invited to participate.
